Move, resize, move, resize... :-)
When we have all faces lined up and resized like we want, we select all and put them in that square. That is main UVW space so all must fit.
Now we render our UVW template that will be used later on in texturing stage just as a guide.
Select whatever size you need. I usually make textures with size of 2048x2048 pixels and then resize down to desired size.
Save it somewhere on disk. I use bmp format but you can use anything you want.
Now we will prepare our ambient occlusion map(AO map later on).
The more samples you use, the longer the render time for AO map. But quality is much betterwith more sample.
Rendering will take some time so i will pause until it's rendered.
This is our AO map. You can see smooth shadows on corners. Now we go Photoshop to texture the model.
I already prepared textures. All textures are from http://www.cgtextures.com/
Now we open our UVW tempate and AO map we just rendered.
Ooops wrong one :-)
We change blending of wire to "screen" and AO map to "multiply".
I don't know why proper AO wasn't saved so i'll do it manualy.
Delete wrong one and open proper one.
For selecting whole image press Ctrl+a, Ctrl+c to copy and Ctrl+v to paste.
