Hi Guys. Today, I'm going to show you
another fast speed lick...
It's another way to play
a scale, using
some sections of it
In these sections
we stop to
highlight the speed we are playing
and we continue playing the scale,
stopping on different sections,
until we arrive to an ending note.
Previously, I want to recommend Nelson's Channel. Here you have the link.

Ok. Let's go to the lick.
This lick is based on the
Am Minor Scale.
Equal than the previous exercise that I
presented you before
Follow this link to Check the Previous Video.
This lick is different
because
we play diagonally. We are not on one single line.
It's a bit similar than the previous exercise but
we are going to use other sections.
of the fretboard.
I'm going to keep moving from 3rd fret on the 6th string to
the 5th string
from the 2dn fret,
3 and 5 too.
At this point I'm going to do something like this...
I'm going to play it slow
I continue over the 5th string on the same frets
I continue on the 4th string
moving to the fret 7
an then 4, 5 and 7 on the third string.
Here I stop again...
I keep moving...
On the second string
on frets 5, 6 and 8
Then on the first string
5, 7, 8
Then I go to the fret 10
Now on reverse...
again on the second on the frets 10 and 8.
Stoping here...
and moving
on 12 on the first string.
then the 10 and 8
and I come back on the second string
12
10 and I stop here...
continue on the first to 13,
12, 10
again on
13 and
12
on the second string. Sop here and
I continue
15 on the first, 13, 12
15, 13, on the second.
and I finish on
the first string on fret 17.
This sounds like this...
again...
Well, you have to practice it.
Speed is not something easy to develope. Use metronome.
Practice a lot at slow speed.
Remember, this is my Tip. If you want to play fast well
You have to practice very slow.
