Hi! I'm Joshua Lindsey with CFM Building Science Solutions. On behalf of Expert Village, we
are going to do a quality assurance walk through on this house. When you are looking at these
doors, one of the biggest things you are going to want to look at on an exterior door, you
are going to want to look at how the seal is around the door. If you look at the right
angle, I don't know if you can get the angle on that, but you can look up in there and
see a gap between the seal and right up in that corner, can you see that from like right
down here. So all of that is going to take literally is going to be a matter of tightening
up my strength like just a touch and I've sealed up that gap. It is literally that easy.
I mean you pull that strike tray in a 16th of an inch and I've sealed up that gap and
now I am not allowing the air that I have spent money in cooling on the inside of my
house to sneak right out of my house in little tiny holes. You might think that doesn't matter
but let me tell you if you've got a little gap on every single one of your doors, exterior
doors in the home, it can add up. You are going to be putting a lot of energy that you
are spending to cool this place. You are going to be putting it right into the outside or
heat the place, you are going to be putting right out the outside which is not a good
thing.
