As we travel with our Twist, we want to make sure our transitions are nice and clean. So
if we traveling to the right, we might want right accent with the right hip and as we
travel to the left, we might want to accent with our left hip. So how do we switch? Let's
practice that. So right foot and then left foot, just single twist, keep the belly button
pulled in, make sure it's not a bump, right, nice and flat parallel with the floor. So
as we go to the right, let's go right, left, right and hold. Now our left hip is ready
to come forward and lead for the other side, and hold. Right, left, right, hold, left,
right, left and hold. Good. It's off on those pauses between the movements that really makes
the dance beautiful because it's showing what you're not moving and making what you do move
that much more exciting. Two, three and hold. Double time. One, two, three, hold. One, two,
three, hold. Make sure the arms aren't waving around. One, two, three, hold. One, two, three,
hold. One, two, three. Good.
