On behalf of Expert Village my name is Pat Louis. Here in Miami I'm going to show you
today how to set up a drum kit. Now the cymbal stands are plentiful people will use three
four of them sometimes frankly I think two is fine. This is one that is already set up
I'll set the other one up and I'll show you how that works but you need a cymbal stand
which is adjustable in a couple of different places. They also need the holder which is
generally comes separately the holder goes on top again if you need to you can adjust
the sides here so that this angle piece can be adjusted further to a slant or more leveled.
Again here we have one of the pieces of metal that allows the cymbal to kind of ride up
and down and be more flexible. Here is one that we can show you from scratch how it sets
up. The bottom goes down it locks in place then you have these different variables that
you can use for height. Up here also the second one can go higher if you like and then you
lock that into place, the holder goes on top the piece of metal goes after that. Then you
are all set to set the other crash cymbals in this case this will be where I put the
ride, the is where I put the crash cymbal as you'll see in a moment.
