Hello and welcome to the State Route 710 Interactive etool.
The SR 710 Study evaluates transportation options to improve mobility and reduce congestion
in East/North East Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley. The five multimodal alternatives
under consideration include no-build, transportation system management/transportation demand management,
light rail, bus, and and a freeway tunnel. We invite you to use this interactive etool
to learn more about these five alternatives by prioritizing what matters most to you.
Because this is an educational tool, the comments you provide will not be included in the Environmental
Impact Report or Environmental Impact Statement however they will be documented in the SR
710 Study's administrative record.
Let's get started! There are three interactive components to the SR 710 Study Interactive E-tool.
First, in the Priorities section, drag and rank your priorities in descending order above
the line to learn how your priorities are reflected in each of the 5 alternatives under
consideration. Next, the Scenarios section shows how each
alternative scores in comparison to the priorities you select ...
Next to each priority is a red and green arrow gauge that indicates how each alternative
meets your selected options. Be sure to click on the "learn more about
this alternative" tab to view facts about each alternative
Last, in the Stay Involved section, connect with the SR 710 Study Team via email, mail,
facebook, twitter, and on our website. We invite you to join the SR 710 Study mailing list and
provide your feedback on the Study.
We hope this E-tool helps you better understand the SR 710 study and the five alternatives
under consideration. With your participation, Metro and Caltrans will begin to shape the
future of transportation and mobility in your community.
