After you have applied the moisturizer, the next thing I'm going to show you is how to
pick the right foundation and apply it to your skin. There's a couple of things that
you want to keep in mind when you're picking a foundation. The first is you want to apply
the foundation to the area of your face where you're actually going to be using it. A lot
of women will match foundations to the back of their hand when trying them out or to maybe
their neck area and this isn't quiet the best place to test it, because the back of our
hands get quiet a bit more sun often than what our faces and necks do. The same thing
can be said with our necks, often our necks are a different color than the face is. So
the best area to test foundation is actually right along your jawline. What you want to
do is go in there with absolutely no makeup on. If you have any powder or old foundation
from earlier in the day and then you test the foundation it's going to end up looking
a little different, so go in with bare skin. Then what you can do is just try a little
bit of the foundation along the jawline here. Now don't be mislead when you first put it
on, a lot of foundations especially water back base foundations will look a little light
when you first put them on and then as they dry the shade will darken just like this one
did. So see if it's a good color match for you and then my recommendation is to go outside
and take a look at it in natural light, because you can never tell indoors with all the florescent
lighting and everything else going on, you don't really know how it's really looking
on your skin until you're out in the sunlight.
