The Auburn Alumni Association has the War Eagle Travelers program and we’ve had that
program for almost 40 years. It is a wonderful way to travel in group travel with Auburn
alumni, friends, family – it’s not restricted to having to be a graduate or a member of
the Alumni Association. We are going to, of course Europe, to China. We have a wonderful
trip seeing the polar bears in Churchill, which is very exciting. Tahiti. We also have
domestic trips – for instance Alaska and a wonderful trip to New York City for Thanksgiving,
which is a family-oriented type of trip that we’re doing with the Auburn club up in New
York where we will see the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade, see a Broadway show, of course have
a game watching party for the Alabama game as we beat Alabama. And all of this is in
2012 and it includes a Broadway show so it’s a great time for families to get together
and visit New York City at Thanksgiving. We also have things for young alumni. We have
an Alpine skiing trip and the one we’re very excited about is our graduation tour
that we offer each year for our graduating seniors and young alumni. This is a tour that
we offer through Europe. It is usually middle May. In 2012, it will be May 15 through the
25th. And it includes Paris and London and they go to Greece. And we are just looking
forward to having more of our graduates knowing about the War Eagle Travelers and what we
offer.
