Hello everyone, this is DieselD199 doing something a little different today. For those of you
who were asking me if I would buy any of the new characters from the upcoming King of the
Railway movie, you're in luck. As I have here in front of me a brand new, Trackmaster Stephen
that I bought the other day. Stephen is a first for me, because prior to buying him
I did not own any of the CGI characters. I hadn't planned on buying him mind you, but
when I saw him whilst out shopping I just couldn't resist as it is very rare for the
shops where I live to stock new Trackmaster engines. So let's get him out of the box and
get a closer look at him.
As you can see he is a very well made model, one of Trackmaster's finest in my opinion.
This is in stark contrast to the other new engines, Connor and Caitlin who, from what
I've seen, do not appear to be very well made at all. It will be interesting to see what
Plarail does, hopefully they won't make me regret my hasty decision to buy this Trackmaster
model.
So let's give Stephen a test run along the mainline, shall we? And there he goes through
Wellsworth Station which is currently under construction and he climbs Gordon's hill quite
easily. This hill and other elevated areas on my layout have only been recently completed.
They have caused me a lot of grief but I've finally managed to get a decent result and
I can now move on to working on other parts of the layout. And here's where Crovan's Gate
Station will be. There's Henry's tunnel and finally we've made it to Vicarstown.
So overall I think this is very good model, that will make a fine addition to anyone's
collection and I hope that Mattel keeps up the good work. Thanks for watching everyone
and make sure you subscribe for more Trackmaster reviews in
the future.
