Welcome to Penn Foster tv! Today we are going to talk about quantifying results on your
resume.
So here is the thing: The hr people can already see that you can do the job. They’ve already
received a lot of applicants, so you need to show that you can do the job WELL.
The way you can show that you can do the job well is to tie and quantify numbers and results
into your resume. I’ll give you a couple examples: Let’s say for example, that you
are a sales person. You would, of course, type a dollar amount and say how much you
can sell per week, but you’re going to have to get a little more creative if you are not
in sales. I’ll give you another example. Let’s say “how many projects per week”
do you finish, how many lines of code can you write in a week. How many questions, emails,
or calls do you answer in a week? Once again, get a little creative with it tie in numbers,
and it will help you more than you even know on your resume. If you could, just click subscribe
to subscribe to our YouTube channel. We do these blogs every week and I look forward
to seeing you again next week. Bye.
