So, here I have some other works of art that I've been creating and thinking in terms of
different ways of approaching a collage. You don't necessarily have to cover an entire
surface with collage paper, but I was very interested in how different parts can be interconnected,
and how they can play with each other. So, here you can see I only have some spot areas
of collage. This is actually with that fabric that I was showing to you earlier, that has
some writing on it, and some imagery, as well as you know, I've sort of worked with the
edges on this one, and I've adhered them down with the same matte gel medium because it
was very important to me that there was a consistency in flow. But, I'm very careful
when I'm working in that manner because you only want the glue in that one specific area,
you don't really want it to edge out onto any of the other works, so it's really specific
when you do, sort of spot collaging in this way. And, then there's another part here where
these two pieces are collaged and I'll get back into that one in a moment.
