Hi. I'm Mark Lori, partnership leader for child development and programme
effectiveness.
Gender equality doesn't happen by accident,
or by chance. Healthy changes in the way that men and women,
girls and boys relate to each other in communities takes intentional
and thoughtful effort on everyone's part. Gender analysis helps us to include a
gender equality lens in our programming.
It helps our programme staff and local partners
explore and address dynamics and norms that may constrain gender equality.
It's an important starting point for making the gender framework for action
come alive in our programmes.
It helps us programme in ways that enhance gender equality
and accelerate attainment of child well-being outcomes.
Investing time in this module can build essential knowledge and skills
that will help you more effectively advance gender equality in World Vision
programmes.
May the Lord bless you as you follow God's call to all of us
in World Vision to work toward the sustained well-being of children
especially the most vulnerable
