This is a gold coin. Gold is becoming very, very popular in today's economic world. Gold,
of course, is the oldest form of currency, it's the most widely accepted form of currency
worldwide. Where do you get this precious metal from? Gold is mined in various countries
of the world, most notably South Africa is the largest miner of gold. Canada also has
a tremendous amount of gold available through its processes as well. South America and Mexico
are also involved in the mining of gold. Very few European countries get involved in gold,
they have other resources that they focus on more so as well. Gold has been mined for
years, centuries in fact, and it has a result of this has become the oldest form, and continues
to be the oldest form of currency. It's held as a hedge against inflation, a hedge against
geopolitical risk in the world, and I believe as a Financial Advisor, everyone should have
a hedge position in real hard assets, that is to say gold, either in bullion form or
numismatical collectible coin format in their portfolio. This is Financial Advisor Patrick
Munro talking about where is gold mined.
