What are some cheap ways to move furniture out of state? I am moving in a few months
and I want to save as much money as possible.
Honestly, if they aren't family heirlooms or are absolutely priceless to you, it is
wiser to sell everything and start over again.
Seriously? What about getting a U-Haul and taking it all myself?
U-Haul charges by the mile, plus you spend a fortune on the really crappy gas mileage.
By the time all those costs add up, you could have bought brand new furniture for your new
place!
What about a moving company?
They cost even more than the U-Haul because you are also paying for labor and for someone
to drive the moving truck.
I guess moving to a new state would be more of a fresh start than I thought.
Yeah, think of it as letting go of the past and starting a completely new life. Your old
furniture is part of your old life. Everything you keep is going to cost you money to move,
so choose wisely.
What about all my other small things that I want to keep? Wont I need a moving truck
to take them anyway?
If you are driving, take your most precious possessions in your car with you. Anything
else can be mailed via FedEx or UPS to your new place.
Here I thought moving was going to be a huge pain and hassle.
Now you can get rid of all your excess baggage, sell all your old stuff for some moving cash
and hit the road.
Now I just need to make a bunch of ads to sell all my things.
You had better get started on that sooner rather than later.
