Hey y'all! So today's video is a quick and easy eyebrow tutorial. In it, I will be showing
you two different ways to do your eyebrows. The first way is with a tinted brow wax and
the second is with a brow powder, or an eyeshadow, and some water. You'll also need an eye primer,
a clear brow gel or mascara, a push liner brush, and a spooly. Disclaimer: My eyebrows
are already thick, so this tutorial is more about defining them rather than drawing them
in. So if your eyebrows are a little bit different than mine, this might not be the most helpful
for you. So the first thing that I do is brush through my brows just to get any extra makeup
off of them and to set the hairs in place. Then I take a push liner brush and I go into
the tinted wax - I like to mix the darkest color with the red shade - and then I just
draw a line straight through my brow as if my eyebrow had a spine. I like to just go
straight through the middle just to make sure that I'm getting the shape that I want. Now
I'm drawing the tail and then I go sort of backwards to make sure that - I'm sort of
pushing the hairs out of the way and getting the product more on my skin rather than the
hairs themselves, that way it will last longer throughout the day. Then I go to the beginning
of the brow, sort of feathering it out and then going back to the arch to define it a
little bit more. Now I'm taking the spooly and brushing them out, which helps blend out
the product and set the hairs in place. Again, I'm defining the bottom - and that's the end
of the first way. So for the second way, you want to wet your brush or wet the powder itself.
If you're using an eyeshadow, it can mess up the shadow if you get the whole thing wet,
so you may just want to put it on your brush, but because the powder I'm using is specifically
for brows, I'm okay with spraying it directly on top of it. So I'm doing the exact same
thing I did for the first brow:I'm going straight through the middle and then working my way
backward, brushing lightly back and forth, to make sure the product is getting on my
skin and underneath the hair. Again, I have thicker eyebrows, so it looks more natural
if I do it this way and it looks more blended out if I do it this way. I'm just defining
the tail here and going back up top, making sure it's blended out, and then taking my
spooly and blending out those colors and setting my eyebrow hairs in place. They're really
long, so I have to go back and forth a few times to put them in place before I set them.
Now I'm taking my clear mascara and using it as a brow gel - and I'm wiping off the
excess because this gets really wet and I'm just going through and setting my eyebrows
in place the way I want them. Making them look as natural as possible. Then I'm going
to let that dry and go back in with my spooly to sort of brush it out just to make it look
a little more natural and not so perfectly in place. Alright, that's it! Thanks!
