The act of bullying has been around for years throughout school and among kids and
even adults of all
ages. Spreading rumors, teasing gossiping and name-calling are
all forms a bullying. This act of force
or threat is used by people to feel dominate over others and for them to get attention
that they may not otherwise get at home.
This issue effects students everywhere whether they
are the one being bullied or even just a bystander.
With the advancements of the internet and social media
cyber bullying has become a huge concern for parents
and teachers worldwide. This kind of bullying makes it easier for kids to anonymously
bully other students they may not like,
and it also makes it easier for bullies to harass other students for all other peers to see.
This is a growing issue in today's society
as it has detrimental effects on all students. Bullying can cause them to feel like
they do not matter
occasionally leading to depression or sometimes even suicide.
Some students may not be strong enough to step up
and fight for themselves,
while other students may be weak and need help overcoming the
attack of others. All students should be taught to take action when
witnessing any form of bullying
around their school by informing a teacher or adult
of the problem. Being a friend to those students who are the target
of bullying around your school is a great way to help them overcome the effects of bullying.
Standing up for other students is another great way to give
those being bullied hope
that they have others by their side.
if you're not a target a bullying but you know someone who is,
do what you can as another student or peer to help that person deal with
the issue of bullying.
Teachers and students should strive to stop bullying
throughout their school, provide help for students
trying to overcome and deal with this issue, and give hope to those who
have been effected by the hurt and damage of this abuse.
Bullying is inevitable in schools at all
ages. But if students are taught the effects of bullying and how serious of an
issue it is,
together they will be able to fight against it and create a safer environment for
their school.
Together they will be able to stand up and protect their peers
from bullying. As a team, they will be able to overcome
the effects of bullying. Students coming together is the best way to overcome
this problem. Hand in hand, they will be strong enough
to help protect weaker students from this issue.
We as teachers and students can prevent this problem.
Together we can become a team
and be able to stay strong and stop bullying.
