I probably needed hearing aids since I was a young child when they noticed when I was
in kindergarten first grade that I was having problems pronouncing and saying my words and
learning my alphabet as well as some of the other kids. But it wasn’t a few years ago
that I actually went and got tested to see how bad my hearing loss was. Up until then
I dealt with a lot of different things and coping with life, realizing that I missed
out on jokes because I couldn’t understand what was said and I was trying to catch up
with the conversation when they delivered the punch line or asking people all the time
to repeat themselves for me so that I could understand them. And, a couple of years ago,
my wife said, “It’s getting uncomfortable to watch television with you. You have to
have it so loud that it almost hurts.”
So, I called A&E and I went in and had an excellent experience with them. Their front
office staff is very courteous and professional, very knowledgeable. They’ve worked through
any question that I’ve had. My audiologist has been extremely patient as I’ve asked
dozens and dozens of questions about what I should expect and what life should be like
today as I hear.
My experience with A&E Audiology really has been fantastic and I would highly recommend
it to anybody.
