Hey everyone it's Valerie and I'm here with Clara.
and
we're gonna be filming a hairstyling video.
as you can see Clara's hair is super curly and frizzy.
and it's just simple hairstyles you can wear to school.
so let's get started.
don't seem to be here
so the first thing we're gonna do is the braided side bun which is my go to hair because
it doesn't take a lot of time and with the volume it always looks very impressive because with thick hair so you have those huge braided side buns
and everyone will be like omg is that your hair!
and it's easy
you just have to make your usual part
and it depends where you want your part, you can decide the sides
you can also have it centered at the back it's a personal opinion. I like it at the side
because I like slightly asymmetric looks
ok so basically
take the hair and put it to the side
and part it into 3
and just start braiding.
Due to your curly hair you're gonna have volume anyway.
no teasing required
and when it's braided just tie it off.
and I am going to tuck at the sides a little bit
to create
even more volume.
Now you are gonna take the braid and twist it into a bun.
Make sure to hold the base of the bun
and tuck the ends underneath the bun.
and then you are going to take thick pins, like these.
Cause they are
the best for thick hair
and you are just going to pin the bun down
and you can leave you bangs/hair out
or just twist it back. and if you want to you can just leave the hairstyle like this.
So basically, you can just leave the hairstyle as it is or you can add an accessory.
like a headband, just cute and preppy.
Or where the ends meet you can just
add a pretty little flower. This adds a spanish and summery vibe. I like this flower a lot
You can wear to like a summer party.
So thats hairstyle number 1. and it was really easy, quick, and simple
Ok so the next hairstyle
is a french twist
and there is two variations to it. Theres one with just a low ponytail at the back
and there's another with this cool twisted in bun-
this is just the french twist at the side
and the first Idea is just
to make it into a low ponytail
your gonna remove all the clips you put in your hair
and that's just what it looks like with a ponytail.
So this is a really cute hairstyle.
It's good for athletics and stuff like that. There's a twist to it
You take the hair
twist it
and flip it inwards.
And when you have a shape like that
when you have it in a bun like this you're gonna need a million pins and just pin it down.
when you have pinned it in this bun like shape
you're done!
but the bun isn't the most beautiful thing on earth so what you can do just to hide
the spot where the bun meets the head
you can add a flower, what ever you like.
just add a flower and it takes away from the semi-cuteness.
This is the second hairstyle. I can remove the flower so you can see the full effect of it.
For what would you wear it Clara? Well I would wear the ponytail version for school
because it's easy, you have your bangs out of the way
especially athletics as Valerie already said.
And this is a very simple look. That looks very chic. It could be worn for a date
or an evening out with your parents. You could even wear it for prom.
You can wear it for prom it you don't want to spend so much time on your hair. Lets get to the next look.
Hi, so I just brushed out my hair. And you can see it's a hot frizzy mess.
yeah.. so what I usually do
because it is like second day hair.
what you just saw was first day hair, where
it dried naturally
and this is what it would look like
if I had to sleep on it
and brush it out.
What I usually do with this hair
is very simple
but very effective!
I take it up and you can vary the heights and the position of the bun. It's up to you!
and you can have strands hanging out
or you can have it low with a side part.
I like a high ballerina bun. And very softly
trying to keep the volume
it in
don't try and like twist it
so that it looks
kind of... squished?
and then try
.. it's hard, it is go ing to fling out at you. And then you can take these monster hairpins and you will go
in
and then you will push them over
and then push them in. And then you will do it again
wherever you need it. Wherever the hair is sticking out.
Which in my case is around the whole bun.
and you stick it through
a party of hair
and then push down.
Don't take too much hair.
But don't take too little.
And then you have a pretty nice, high ballerina bun.
And it will be voluminous
because your hair is thick, thats kinda the point of this tutorial.
And if you have hair thats sticking out
that you can't get in with one of the big pins
then you can use a bobby pin
if you want it to be invisible or what else you could use
are those little crocodile clips. They are really small and you can just hide them under
the mass of your head :) And that's the high ballerina bun!
cute, easy
and you have your hair out of the way.
Perfect for an everyday look.
And also for athletics because depending on how many pins you put in
it's gonna be very tight and survive a lot.
So, we but hope you enjoyed this tutorial. ANd it was really fun to film with Clara mane
She is gonna be in many more tutorials
Thumbs up for Clara
