Hi everyone. So here's a really interesting title. I think it's called Contre Jour is the way you pronounce it.
And the idea is you have to collect these lights
around the level and make it a larger light to get out.
You do the moving around by deforming
the environment, so you can see here I've
just tweaked that. If I pop that up, this character
here is the guy I've got to move.
he kind of moves around and then creates slopes
which the physics can make use of, and so on.
But you can deform everything to allow you to Contre Jour
move where you want to go. So let's do that.
And we want him to go that way so let's do that.
And then we'll drop that bit down. Now what we actually need to do
is we need this guy to
roll that way.
so pop there.
It's not going to quite work for us is it? So do it this way.
There we go, now need to move that back, drop that down, and you're gone.
A really really clever puzzle game.
Now what I like about it is the black on white style and the
Contre Jour music on this is really nice as well.
It's quite an interesting puzzler because the deforming of the territory
and the environment around the creature
is just fantastic, so if we now pull
we can link him together onto this bungee cord style thing
and release him again and pop him down onto there.
And then we'll just try rolling him this way
There we go, there's one. Do the same again
there we go, ants over there.
Bring him back down this way Contre Jour .
You can see it's quite an involved amount of gameplay and there's
not necessarily
one right way to do it. It's
how you want to try and approach solving
a particular level.
There we go. Roll downhill. And we're out.
What a fantastic game.
