There are over 1,200 study spaces in all of the library buildings.
These spaces provide you with flexible studying options including group and individual study
spaces.
There are also dedicated areas for mobility impairment and wheelchair users, as well as
postgraduate study spaces.
You can book individual rooms for up to six hours a day, and group rooms for up to three
hours a day.
These can be booked very easily on our website, up to a month in advance.
Go to...
Click on the "book a study room" icon in the Library Essentials panel on the right of the
page.
Select the date on which you are looking to book a room.
The calendar box will show available slots in green
Click on a green time slot against the study space you would like to reserve.
Enter your full name, email address and username to submit your booking request.
Click submit.
You will receive a confirmation email, with a link which you need to click on within 24
hours, in order to complete the study room booking process
Our study spaces are named after people or places with local connections. In some rooms,
you will see information panels like this one.
This tells the story of the place or person your space is named after.
