In this video, we will see how presets for different users and applications can be assigned
to the Select Keys, or conveniently stored to and recalled from USB for easy transfer
between mixers.
A preset stores the key setup, group members, input levels, pan and mutes.
It does not store the Master EQ, Limiter or Solo settings.
To store a preset, hold Shift and press the Recall key. Select keys available for store
will start flashing. To store on a key, press one, and the screen
will display the preset number and name. Press the key again to overwrite the preset with
the current settings.
To store to USB, press the rotary to select the USB key, and then press again to store
with the name displayed, or select ‘Edit Name’ if you wish to change the name before
storing.
While in Store mode, you can press a Select key and press the rotary to edit an existing
preset. You can name the preset by scrolling the characters
with the rotary, clear its name by selecting the X, or select ‘Clear Preset’ to delete
its content. Press the Master key to return to the Store
screen, press a second time to exit Store mode.
To recall a preset, hold down the Recall key. Select keys with a stored preset will start
flashing. A steady light indicates the last recalled preset.
Press a Select key, and the screen will display the preset number and name. Press again to
confirm the recall.
To recall from USB, use the rotary to scroll through the available presets, press it to
select, and press again to confirm. Release the Recall key to exit.
You can also export and import a full system configuration. Hold Shift and press the Group
key to enter the Setup menu. Select ‘System Setup’ and press the rotary,
then press it again to enter the Config menu. The configuration can be named with up to
8 characters. This name appears on the Home screen and becomes the name of the Config
file when exported. Scroll to Export and press the rotary twice
to archive the configuration on the USB key. Scroll to Import and press the rotary to select
and recall an archived configuration.
Other items in the Setup menu allow you to dim the OLED screen and key LEDs for low-light
operation, check the mixer firmware version and MAC address, set a custom unit name, and
update the system operating firmware.
