Welcome to these first steps with Tourist World Pros.
With this tutorial you will get used to the basic concepts of its operation, which as you will see are very simple.
The screen is divided into four zones always present:
At the header is the main menu.
All that Tourist World Pros offers you is within your reach from here: it's as simple as that!
But in the header there are also some interesting elements
like a direct link to the content of your profile and another link that allows you to logout at any moment.
But it's better to simply close your browser if you ticked "Login automatically" to avoid having to enter
your name and password every time you want to log in to Tourist World Pros.
Also on the right side of the header you'll see at times an envelope icon.
If you click on it, it will open a window that contains a notice from the portal for you
when some action on your part is required, by clicking on it you can directly access the page that allows you
to perform the requested process.
Let's continue studying the screen.
Using the menu on the left side you can access the different sections of a page.
Or the options available on it.
Occasionally, several links appear below the side menu, so you always have handy things you may want to do
at any time.
Furthermore, this area is very important because, if something does not work as you expected, by reading
the messages you will know what you did wrong.
The area on the right is the one that hosts the main content of the screen and, therefore,
it changes a lot depending on what you are doing in each moment.
However, there are a few things you should always bear in mind.
First, especially until you get used to it, read the texts that appear on the screens.
The ones in blue are useful explanations about everything you see on the page.
If you want to know more, you can click on the help icon at the top, which will open a window with explanations
about everything you are seeing on the page.
We have worked hard to make the use of Tourist World Pros as simple and intuitive as possible,
but especially at the beginning, keep reading everything appearing on the screen.
Even the icons will show a help text if you put the cursor over them.
Everybody needs to learn, and reading will be the only way you can get the most out of this tool
that has so much to offer.
Regarding the icons, some of them are merely informative (with the white background)
and others perform actions when you click on them (with orange background).
Not to bore you, we will let you discover for yourself the way the icons work, but we will tell you now
something important about this icon that you will see in many forms.
Its presence shows that, when you write any data, you must click on it to validate it.
So...
If you don't do it, the information that you just entered would not be stored when pressing the "Modify" button.
Although as you can see we take the trouble of reminding you to do it, in case you forget.
There is just one area of the screen left to look at: the bottom.
From here you can always contact us if you detect any problem when working with Tourist World Pros.
We hope you'll never have to do it!
We're almost done, but we don't want to finish without advising you to watch the tutorials at least on the three
most important activities of Tourist World Pros:
create your complete professional profile
define the specific activities you do
and access the job market.
You will find them in the "Help" menu, "FAQ about TWP" section, where you will also find
lots of interesting written information about how Tourist World Pros works.
And finally, a very important announcement: surely you have realized that Tourist World Pros is more
than just a website.
It is more like a software application, one of those tools that you frequently use in your computer,
such as a word processor.
So then, use it as such, clicking on its menus
submenus
icons
and buttons;
but NEVER press the "Back" button of your browser, because it will rarely have the desired effect.
Although if you forget it, it won't be a huge problem: you just have to press Enter again on the address bar
of your browser to return to the application.
