Well hello there you learning learners and welcome to part 1 of the 8
presentation techniques. And here we go with technique number 1. The first
technique is very simple, but often overlooked. Practise your presentation at
least a few times. This is very useful because you'll know what you have to say
and where during your presentation. The second technique is that you look at you
audience. If you are only looking at your paper your presentation is boring. I
like to divide my audience into groups. For example. Some people at the left of
me, some people in front of me and some people at the right of me. And every now
and then I take a look at one of these groups. It is very annoying to talk with a
dry mouth. A simple tip to rehydrate your mouth is to drink some water. But when
there is no water at hand, there is another simple tip you can use. You bite on
the tip of your tongue, like this. To rehydrate your mouth again. And the final
technique is that you wear your favourite clothes during your presentation. When
you look good you'll talk with more confidence. You audience will notice this,
and listen to what you have to say. So learning learners what have we learned
today? First we have learned that you have to practise your presentation a few
times. Secondly we have learned that it's important to look at your audience.
Then we have learned a technique to rehydrate your mouth. And finally we have
learned that wearing your favourite clothes during your presentation, will help
you to talk with more confidence. And that's it for part 1 I hope it was useful
and I will see you next time.
