My name is Micaela Juarez
I'm head of communications for World Travel Market
and I'm here today to share with you seven top tips on how to make most
of WTM's visit this year, so
the first step is to go on our website which is www.wtmlondon.com
register. Fill in the form and print out your
badge. The next thing to do is to check with your country
that you don't need visa because if you do you will need to contact your
embassy, and sort your visa out before your trip to London. Another nice and easy
way
of planning your visit to World Travel Market is
to log onto my WTM. So go on the website again www.wtmlondon.com
click on my WTM. Put your badge number
and your email address, and that will log you on to
your domain of my WTM. In there
you'll be able to search for visitors and exhibitors that closely match your
criteria and who you would like to meet
and through my connections you can actually plan meetings with them.
in my WTM you can also search for seminars
that closely match your interest and plan them
in your diary, as well as seeing where exhibitors are located
through the floor plan. Another great way of organizing your visit to WTM
is to download the WTM app, in order for you
to find, at your fingertips, all of my
WTM functionalities. Booking your hotel
and planning to travel to Excel London is also
essential, and our website has got all the information for you
to see what is the best route to get there
and potentially which hotel to stay in. I'm very well aware that during the WTM week
there are loads
of social activities in the evenings that
exhibitors and visitors and the travel trade
professionals in general participate in, so it would be worthwhile for you to check our
website
which ones are those, plan them, book them in your diary,
and make sure again that you've got all the transfers
and transport for that day. If you are qualified buyer
I would urge you to sign up to our WTM speed networking
session which puts together buyers and sellers into one big room
with speed meetings to help you plan
ahead, on the Monday and also help you to increase your business opportunities
because we have a further session on the Thursday. In essence
the secret is, it doesn't take much to actually plan ahead
but when you do so, you are really organized
in terms of who your'e meeting, where your'e going
and it makes it really a very productive week, so I urge you
plan ahead, and if you've got a problem and if you've got a question
myself and my team are here for you. You can
e-mail us, you can tweet us through
LinkedIn and our groups. We are there for you
so don't hesitate to give us a call and see you
at World Travel Market 2013 4th
to the 7th of November in Excel London
