New York Habitat vacation rental visit
Today we will be visiting a beautiful apartment situated between
Boulevard Saint Germain and Quai Voltaire in Paris
This is a great location,
close to the Seine river and the famous Louvre museum
You will also find some of the world's best shopping
along the renowned Boulevard Saint Germain
The apartment is found on the 2nd floor
(3rd floor in the US)
of a beautiful building constructed in the 1960s
In this vacation rental
you'll find a living/dining room area with large windows
To the left, you'll find a bookshelf
with a TV and a stereo system
A WiFi internet connection is also provided
The dining area of this room
has a table and chairs for sit-down meals
and the living area is furnished with a sofa bed
facing a coffee table and more chairs
The bedroom has two entries
It can be accessed either from the living room,
or by a second smaller room that can be used as an office
A double sized bed
is available in the center of this well-lit bedroom
The bathroom is found to the right of the entry of the apartment
It's equipped with a bathtub
cupboard space
a sink and a mirror
As with many Parisian apartments
the toilet is separate
The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine
a dishwasher and all that you'll need for cooking
You'll have a toaster
a coffee machine
an oven
a stove
a microwave and more
You'll also have a small table with two chairs
to eat breakfast or to prepare meals
The window of the kitchen faces a small courtyard
The entry of the apartment has two closets
One is a coat closet
and the other is a large walk-in type closet
where you can hang clothes and store your belongings
This charming vacation rental
is ideally located in the heart of Paris
Let's visit the surrounding neighborhood
In heading towards the Seine river
just three blocks away
you'll come to the Orsay Museum
Once a train station,
it has been transformed into an museum
whose collection includes 19th century artwork
and impressionist paintings
The Jardin des Tuileries is the largest and oldest garden in Paris
It was originally occupied by tile makers
With its green grass and views of the Eiffel Tower
it's definitely worth a visit
The majestic Louvre museum
was once a medieval fortress
and the palace of the king of France
At the time of the revolution
the Louvre was transformed into a museum
Today, it is home to one of the richest
art collections in the world
Strolling across the Pont des Arts,
you'll get a fantastic view of the center of Paris,
including the Ile de la Cité and the Institut de France
Finally, as you move away from the Seine river,
strolling along the famous Boulevard Saint-Germain,
you will come to the Saint-Germain-des-Près church,
one of the oldest churches in Paris
