Hi, this is Aida with Style United.
When it comes to eyeshadow, there's really no colors
that are off limits.
But did you know that there are some colors that actually
play up your eyes and make them stand out?
For blue eyes, there's CoverGirl Exact Eyelights.
The great thing about this shadow is that it comes with
its own applicator.
Blue eyes look great on tan skin.
If you burn easily, you want to try to make sure that you have
some kind of concealer to tone down the redness, otherwise,
it's gonna distract from your beautiful eyes.
When it comes to eyeshadow colors, you can use the Exact
Eyelights, which comes in an array of colors.
There's blue, green, and browns.
Or you can opt for brown shadows,
which also play off blue eyes.
Blue eyes also come, usually, with blonde hair.
If you have blonde hair and light brows, what you want to do
is find a shadow or pencil to fill them in.
This way it'll frame your eyes better.
As far as your clothing is concerned, you want to try
to find colors that are blue, greens, and teals.
Because blue eyes come in a variety of shades, from very
light to very deep, you want to play around with your makeup and
your clothing to find the best shades that play up for you.
And a few more things, try playing around with purples,
even in your mascara, and brown plays up blue eyes beautifully,
so try a brown mascara instead of black.
Green eyes can range from a light green to a deep emerald.
CoverGirl has Exact Eyelights for green eyes.
It comes in a range of purples and pinks, which look beautiful
on green eyes and make them really pop.
If you're really feeling bold,
consider changing your hair color.
Green eyes really stand out against brunette, black,
and auburn shades.
A bold red lip in warmer tones like LipPerfection's Hot
will really make your eyes pop.
For those of you with green eyes that have golden flecks,
you may want to try gold, peach, or purple eyeshadow
and try out those same shades in your clothing.
If you have deep emerald eyes, turquoise and silver jewelry
will really make your eyes pop.
Also consider wearing green and dark colored clothing
to also make your eyes pop.
The Exact Eyelights, comes in Majestic Hazel, has a wide range
of brown, greens, and taupe, but if you have different colors
in your eyes, you may want to try out different shadows.
Purples play up hazel eyes wonderfully.
If you have hazel eyes, you may want to avoid blues
or eyeshadow colors that are too vibrant.
For your lips, consider Natureluxe Lip Balm to give
your lips a little sparkle and make your eyes sparkle, too.
For clothing, think gold, green, tan, brown, and purple.
Brown-eyed girls have a wider range of choices.
You can go for a neutral palette such as the one that's found in
CoverGirl's Exact Eyelights eye palette for Brown Eyes
or you can go with something a little bolder like blue.
Blue actually makes brown eyes stand out more.
If you don't feel bold enough to go with a blue shadow,
consider a blue eyeliner or a blue mascara.
For your clothing choices, you have a wide range of variety
but I would suggest going with something earthy
to really play up your brown eyes.
Gold, brown, orange, rust -- these are all beautiful colors
to play up brown eyes.
Black will also help your brown eyes pop.
Or you may want to play off the black using some metallics,
such as burnished silver, copper, or bronze.
Just a tip -- brown eyes can range from light to almost black
but they're all considered neutrals.
