Hi guys. Sonja Foust the Pintester here. Today we're gonna learn how to whistle.
[burp] That was not a whistle.
So I don't really know how to whistle. I mean I can
you know I can [wimpy whistle] but that's about it. I don't know how to whistle to, like
get anybody's attention. Not that I would really ever wanna
do that, 'cause it seems sort of rude, but whatever.
We are going to learn how to whistle together today 'cause I found a tutorial online
It's linked below if you guys wanna see it. We're gonna go through it together.
Together. First thing you do: finger position. You
take both hands, stick up the two first fingers, like this
and down with the other two fingers. Put your thumb over them...
and then make an A.
You pull your lips over your teeth
Like this... Like you are trying to be an old man
with no teeth. That's very scary.
Now you put your fingers on your tongue
right at the tip, and push it back in your mouth.
Like this.
Now, you blow. [blowing]
I tried to learn whistling before, and mostly I succeeded in drooling a lot and making myself pass out.
Push the tip of your tongue back with your fingers. You're basically folding
the first quarter
of your tongue back on itself. I don't know what that means.
[blowing] [tiny whistle] Woo!
[blowing] Man...
I got it for, like, a second. It's getting real. I'm rolling up my sleeves. [blowing] ***.
I smell like slobber. Aw, man, now I can't do it at all.
Ew. One more time, just to say
we tried. [blowing] Alright I give up.
I got one little puny whistle out of that thing. Here's an instant replay for ya.
Um, and, that's about all I got.
So, um, I guess I'll be practicing
slobbering on my fingers some more... later.
I was unsuccessful but maybe you'll get it. Some of you are
better at blowing then I am. I wish you much whistling luck
in the future. Bye guys. I'll see you next week. Be sure to check out Pintester.com
for more tests, and
hit that subscribe button, 'cause then you'll get to see the videos first.
Now I can't even do it the regular way. I broke it. [whistle] There we go.
It made me burp.
