Back again / With us.. on Masak.TV
Nah, for this webisode, we will cook “Vegetables Soup”.
We have the ingredients here..
Let us introduce it to you. Salt and pepper,
Chunks of tomato,
Slices of chive,
Shallot and garlic, thinly sliced.
Cabbage,
Carrot, cut into dice.
Potato, cut into dice.
And then Cauliflower.
Don’t forget, we have already prepared..
The chicken broth.
Now, it’s very easy.
Firstly, put the diced potato, carrot, and tomato..
Into the pot of chicken broth.
Cover and boil it together until it’s cooked.
Now, we saute the other ingredients.
Sauted shallot and garlic first.
We put the shallot first because it’s containing more water.
Just for seconds, then put the garlic and saute it together.
Should us give more salt on the sauted vegetables or only put the salt on the broth later?
Put the salt on the sauted vegetables and also on the broth.
Okay, now we can put the slices of chive, but leave a little for garnish.
Now, reduce the heat and put the cabbage.
And the cauliflower.
The purpose we saute the shallot and garlic is to get the aroma..
Because by sauting it we can get more aroma compare with if we just put it all together in a broth pot.
No matter if we’ve already put the shallot and garlic for the broth?
Of course. To know more the way of making the broth,
Just watch our session on “Tips & Tricks” session.
Okay, now we see the cabbage has become more transparent,
We can season with a little bit salt and pepper.
Ok, we’ve finished this. Better we move the pot to this stove,
Because it has the greater fire.
Open the lid and put the vegetables into the chicken broth pot.
Faster, dude, the lid is so hot!
The producer’s pot is so hot!
Nah, cover and simmer until the soup been done.
We can clean the things up while waiting for the soup.
Nah, already done.
We can turn off the stove now / See? The soup is cooked.
We haven’t season the broth with salt. For your additional information,
Usually we add the salt before we eat the soup. Why?
Because when the soup is still hot, the salt flavour will taste more salty.
Moreover if you boil the soup continuously and the water become lesser,
The soup will be more salty too.
Thank you for watching this webisode,
And keep on watching our next webisodes.
So, still with us on Masak.TV!
