Hi Girls
I'm Orchidea
welcome to my cannel.
I have finally got my voice right back.
I shall start filming directly at this point because
of a bad flu I've had,
so I don't look so presentable.
Ok... In this video I'd like talking about a clay
I don't know how define it... polymeryc maybe, don't know...)
wanted to test.
It's a clay from Thailand
called
Thai clay.
Now I'll show you.
Look
thai clay
i've already tested it before filming the video.
ok
let's take a look on this paper,
it says
that
dryes
at room temperature,
it's resistent from (how can I say...)
being broken,
and most important it can be decorated,
with oil
or
acrilic painting.
It's very important because
from this little white pack you can create a million and million colours.
Now I'm going to show it to you.
it's accurately
wrapped up in this
(ehm paper ...
what's the name...?)
plastic transparent wrap
for aliments
because it
dryes with the air
and if
this happens you'll waste
a big piece of product.
Even if it has a fair price
(it's 5.95 dollars per 250g of product)
it's better don't waste it.
Ok as you can see if I break it
nto pieces it'll release some little lines,
for its consistence
it reminds me
corn dough,
for the reason that even this one can be coloured with acrilic painting.
(let's take another little one) now I'll close it
yeah
now I'll close it
done!
I warn you to seal it if you'll buy it.
than
I'll put in there
that has a closure that doesn't let the air to pass.
now
we've got this piece,
I warn you don't be too slow on working on it because it dryes,as I've said before.
Ok
I'll use
my acrilic colour
"Polycolor"
(let's see if I'll...
this camera is awful for doing
video...)
whose number is
256
(don't know if you can see it)
primary red,
pay attention
to the fact that
the clay is white
so the colour will clear a lot
but
when it'll harden
he colour
will become slightly darker.
We need
a very few of it
I'll tell you I pick it from here because I don't want it becomes very too
pigmented.
I'm bathing it.
Did you see how much I used?
don't know if it's enough because the last
time I used it I use a little more.
Alright I've got a pastel pink
now
with this
i'm going to make
a biscuit
with a stamp I've already prepared.
I'm gonna make this one
(damn it I can see nothing!
This camera doesn't focus anything!
Ok
maybe farther...
mmm damn it!)
Ok let's take the pink piece,
this is our stamp
(anyway I'll post photos at the end)
let's squish it. Here it is,see it?
Now with this,
I'll take the margin out.
The best thing to do is let it dry
and then with an skiving knife to take the
imperfections out.
If you want it to change into a pendant,
before it dryes
you may put the chain.
Be careful being gentle.
And that's done.
Now my biscuit it's going to dry.
It will change its colour,it'll become slightly darker and more polished.
I'm going to show some examples...
ut first I'll tell you how much time it take to dry,and this is the most annoying part
because it takes about 1 or 2 days depends on how much big
is the object you'll make.
For example I made this
(that can't be seen wow).
It's a little heart made with a stamp,
it's a little brighter and darker
It hadn't the same shade but it was lighter at beginning.
Ok I'm going to post the photos.
I hope you enjoyed the video.
You can try if you want.I'll write down on the box all the info where you can buy the materials.
Bye-bye. Trad.Antonio Porro
