Hi there, In the video I'm going to show you how to make camouflage mails using Konad
Nail Stamping Plates
You'll nee plates number 24 and 61 to do this.
So to do this camouflage effect, you're going to want to start off with a base coat.
You'll probably whant to use some kind of light brown color like beige or cream
or you can also get away with silver too.
Here we have the Konad Kit.
everything in there the stamps the scraper the
plate holders and two plates that we're going to use
as well as the
what they refer to as special nail polish which is the %uh
it's like the the
nail polish for printing the images on to the stamp.
We're also going to use
the top coat afterwards so that
it will last longer and not
chip off so easily.
So here I have applied
the creamy color for my base coat.
so this is plated 61
I'm gonna start with this plate first
I'm going to do both
the brown and the green with this
to apply it
for the first part of the effect.
so with the plate sitting on the plate holder
we're going to apply someone the nail polish on
and then scrape the excess nail polish off,
and then we take thei rubber stamp and just go right over it
to pick up the image
and you can see here the image transfers to the rubber stamper
and then we play that our nail rolling that across.
And this is what the results should look like.
So here's all my fingers on my left hand with the stanp on for the first part.
Okay so we're going do the green part the same way with the same pattern.
To make it not seems so obvious we're going to turn it upside down and then when we put
it on we're going to give it just a little bit of a twist maybe about five
degrees or so
Then it doesn't look so obvious that it's the same image
over itself twice.
This is what it should look like as it's coming along.
Okay so we're going to finish with the Plate 24.
What we're going to do is we're going to use the other end of the stamper.
If you have the
smaller green end
then i'd recommend using it
if not then continue
using the pink one. It's just easier to
see what you're doing smaller greene end than it is witht he pink one.
Now when applying this one
you may want to apply it on half of your nail at a time.
and then a apply the rest to the other side because this one is not
quite so wide as the
cow print image
this may also depend on shape of your nails.
with the cow print image you may want to even go verticle instead of horizontal
as I demonstrated in the video earlier.
So here's the camofluage effect and how it should look
but I recommend
that you clean up around
the cuticle and anywhere else
that look kind of messy, and then it'll liik really nice.
So one neat thing with this is that you can try other colors and not just of brown and green or even try
two shades of green.
I did a really neat one with my cousin.
She put a silver base coat on
and then I took
the white and then the baby blue cow print and then I
took the other one [nail polish]
and put the
navy blue on the cheetah print one, and it looked really nice.
You can even try yellows, reds and pinks
or purple and other colors if you want.
some of them might actually look nice
