I just want to talk a little bit about supervising the interactions between your new cat, and
the cats who have been in the house all along, so for example, if this were the new cat,
this is Ace. He feels comfortable right now. You can see how he's responding to my petting,
but if you look over at Rusty Buttercup here, his tail is twitching. Even though he looks
like he's sort of resting, he's a little bit excited, and his tail is twitching there,
and he's just kind of waiting to see what Ace is going to do, so, and as Ace gets closer,
you can see that Rusty's tail is getting a little bit more energetic. Now, on the other
hand here, Tippy is very relaxed. He's all stretched out, grooming himself, so that you
can see that he's quite comfortable, although he's paying attention to Ace. He's watching
him, and his ears are forward. He's watching my hand pet Ace. He still remains very relaxed
and comfortable, about having Ace so close to him, so things to watch out for with the
cat's interacting, are the tails twitching, the ears going back. Of course, any hissing
or growling noises that you hear, are a sign that the two cats are too close to each other,
and you may just want to be careful, in watching them, to make sure that they give each other
enough space and ground, so that they don't end up actually fighting.
