\f0\fs80 \cf0 Hey this is robnonymous and here are a few clips of me going HAMR time
on Templin41. In all honesty though, he gave me quite a few haircuts with his ballista,
but those clips mysteriously disappeared. \
\ So today, we're going to talk about the HAMR
LMG which is a variant of the SCAR Assault rifle from FN Herstal. The acronym stands
for Heat Adaptive Modular Rifle and it acts similar to the AN94 in its firing behavior.\
\ The HAMR is unlocked at level 37 and has a
75 round drum mag which can be upgraded to 100 rounds with the extended clip.\
\ Reload time is fairly good for the LMG category
at 4.8 seconds and that can be reduced to 2.8 seconds by canceling the animation early.\
\ Damage is also standard for the LMG category
ranging from 40 up close to 24 at a distance. The HAMRs range enables it to drop enemies
up to 108 ft away with just three hits.\ \
Now here's where the HAMR gets interesting. When pulling the trigger, the first seven
rounds fire at 937 RPM and then the fire rate slows down to 625 RPM. If rapid fire is equipped,
the HAMR behaves the same exact way, but the fire rates are 1250 and 833 RPM respectively.\
\ This gives the HAMR a time to kill of .15
to .28 seconds which ties the QBB for best in category.\
\ Alright, lets take this LMG to the wall and
see how its accuracy holds up .\ \
That's a pretty tight pattern and the grip helped out a little bit, but it got worse
when the silencer was attached. So just be aware of that or just don't use the grip at
all. \ \
Lets take a look at the hip fire accuracy\ \
The laser attachment has really helped out all the LMGs and I'm beginning to think its
a worthwhile attachment to run, especially if you want to create a mobile LMG class\
\ Lets have some fun and break out that rapid
fire. \ \
Wow. not bad at all! I would expect the pattern to be much worse with rapid fire, but this
is really manageable. \ \
Alright, lets see how the HAMR works rapid firing from the hip.\
\ The laser attachment is still keeping things
together, and I'm finding myself pleasantly surprised with the HAMRs accuracy all around.
This is a really nice LMG and I actually like the way it slows down after the initial seven
rounds. It seems to help me lock in on large groups of enemies and it keeps the clip from
running out too quickly.\ \
I ran an optical site on it, just because I don't prefer the shape of the iron sights,
but that could easily be swapped for a laser, quickdraw or silencer attachment. \
\ Well that's going to be all for this episode
of bullet points. And by the way, I stumbled upon a neat call of duty blog on Tumblr today.
It's call Call of Duty for all. It's a great place to kill some time when you're browsing
the web, so go check 'em out and let them know Rob sent you. I'll leave a link in the
description as well. \ \
