Yeah, absolutely go on exchange. Put yourself out there and don't be afraid to make mistakes
because that's the way you learn the best. People can tell you how to do things all your
life, but until you make those mistakes for yourself, I think that we don't take that
advice too seriously. So absolutely go out there, get ready to grow and change and if
something happens, just roll with it. Because in the end, as long as you learn something
from your mistakes or from your experiences, you just become a better person and the confidence
you take from it, the self-assurance, the validation, it goes so far into your career,
your personal life, everything, that I would recommend everyone to take a semester, a year,
two years, or spend their entire life travelling or just getting out there. And I know I was
going off-topic but some of the most interesting people I've met, some of the happiest people,
are people who have travelled in their youth and continue to travel today. And they're
such free-minded, happy people that I have to reconsider what I want in my life. Like
why do I want two and a half kids, a white picket-fence house, and a desk job when these
people are living so freely and happily and they don't have that same desire for the Canadian
or American dream? So yeah, highly implore any students to try travelling or just get
out there.
