RYAN LARSON: Now, when you approach two shakers, one in each hand, you have a lot of different
ideas that can come to mind. First of all, if you want to get different sounds out of
each one, you can play muted and one open or you can play in both open or both muted.
These are some simple things. But what you want to really concentrate is either separating
to one on the onbeat, one on the offbeat where you have. So, this goes um-pa-um-pa-um-pa.
I like to unite the rhythm too, and you get a heavier sound. Or you can use this one for
hits and accent, and you can do it for roll. That's the shaker, two hands.
