Place. They're all chasing the 8 and a quarter million dollar first prize.
On the Milwaukees's Best Light Pocket Cam Omberto with Ace ten off suit.
And he will give it up. Over to our chip leader Dog Martin Mikkelsen, ace king of diamonds,
that's good for a raise to sixty thousand. Three times the big blind. Chris Lovelace from
Brandon Mississippi, "I'm not really ready". Re-raise with pocket eights. "One fifty".
Lovelace bought in for the ten thousand dollar entry. He says I want to know if I can play
with the big boys. So far so good. Over to Javant Con now, now that's a big boy, yeah.
And the big boys' cards go into the muck and action is folded back around.
"How much money you got there?" It's a dog market. "1 thousand 200." And he'll re-raise him all in.
"Knock-out. Knock-out." And a call. That's one of the most sedate all in calls we've ever seen at
the main event. Well Lovelies has run up against the biggest boy, the Chip Leader.
Alright, to the flop we go now. The flop is, ten-jack-jack.
What a flop for Mikkelsen, a straight flush draw! What a way to miss and still be monstrously ahead.
Lovelace's pocket eights are good but in dire straights. "Ten?" Turn card, six of diamonds and a
flush for Mikkelsen but not over yet boys. Lovelies can still survive with an 8 or a jack
for a full house. River card, queen of diamonds, and a royal flush for Mikkelson. Oh, Lovelace is
gone. "What a hell of a way to go out. You earned it fellow."
Our eardrums are fortunate Javant or Umberto wasn't the one to hit that royal flush.
Mikkelson over 4 million. "This game is easy."
