TrueView is an ad format from YouTube where the advertiser only pays
when the user sees the video, not when there is an impression of the video.
There are three types of TrueView. The In-Stream format appears when the video starts to play
and can be omitted by the user during the first five seconds. This is what is called Pre-roll video.
The advertiser only pays from the second 30 of the video.
This is how it would appear on the platform.
The In-Search format works through keywords.
According to searches performed by the user on the YouTube platform,
videos will be positioned at the top and also sponsored videos will appear
Here the advertiser would only pay when the user decides to view the video
clicking, and this is how it would appear on the platform.
And the last TrueView format is the True View In-Display, where the ads
are promoted on the Google Display Network,
and the advertiser only pays when the user decides to click
on the video.
And it would appear like this on the platform.
