DOUG JENKINS: Hi. I'm Doug. I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom
Hot Rods, and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. DAN: That's
the problem. DOUG JENKINS: The black plastic shroud that Dan is removing now focuses the
fan's air pressure, the negative pressure created by the fan. It focuses it on the radiator.
Without a shroud, you're just moving a bunch of air around by the radiator. The shroud
makes it so that the fan actually can suck air through it. You can double your car's
cooling ability if it--with a good shroud. If it didn't have a shroud on there, you're
just blowing air all over under the hood.
