Have a look at this. It is the much talked about, ultra thin,
ultra light MSI X340. We first saw this thing cased in glass at CES
and now we finally have our hands on the final production model.
It is a extremely light 2.86 pound notebook
and incredibly thin, take a look at that.
Just like, thin as a tiny notebook this thing
and it is going to be incredibly portable.
It's the type of notebook that you can throw in your bag
and you don't even know that you're carrying something around.
Of course you know the feeling of carrying a heavy notebook around,
it's never pleasant, you're not going to have that anymore with the MSI X340.
Now it's got a Core 2 Solo 1.4 gigahertz processor,
a very low power, very power sipping processor on this thing.
It's got 2 gigabytes of RAM. It comes with Vista Home Premium pre-installed.
It has a 320 gigabyte hard drive on board.
It's a 13.4 inch screen, resolution is 1366 by 768
and it has the Intel Integrated GMA 4500 graphics chipset built in
so it's got the high end integrated Intel graphics on board.
It does have HDMI and VGA so already a lot of these specs
are outperforming a lot of the ultra thin notebooks
that you see out there and this one hits a price point
that's actually extremely affordable. Now it does have wireless B,
wireless G and wireless N on board and also has bluetooth as well
so you're going to be able to communicate
with all of your wireless networks and all of your wireless devices.
Now we do have a built in webcam as well, perfect for your video chatting,
video blogging, any of that stuff and built in microphone,
all those in the bezel. Now as we move our way down
of course we have our glossy 13.4 inch screen running at 1366 by 768,
very nice full size keyboard on this, you've got your trackpad
and this is a two button trackpad, it just looks like one
but depending on which side you press it
you are getting two mouse buttons on this thing.
Now taking a walk around the notebook, over on this side you see
we do have a couple of USB ports, headphone, microphone
and your power plug over along this edge
and of course over on the other edge is where you're going to find
your VGA, your gigabit ethernet, there's your HDMI
and your card slot located right over here
so you can read SD cards with this as well
and your battery goes in right here and you'll be surprised
at how incredibly thin and small this battery is.
So if you need a nice, thin, very very capable notebook
but you're not looking to break the bank
on the more expensive models that are out there,
the MSI X340 is probably going to fit in perfectly
for whatever it is that you're doing with it.
So this is a very very nice little notebook, very cool,
very good looking too, you don't see very many notebooks
that are that thin. You don't see very many notebooks
that can be used to you know, cut a cake with or something.
So go check this out, it's the MSI X340.
It's out there on the market right now and incredibly affordable.
To get more info on the MSI X340 ultra thin and ultra light notebook
go to any of the retailers you see up on the screen right now
and type in M452-130003.
