My name is Rich Sommer.
I'm an actor.
I'm currently on a show called "Mad Men."
[MUSIC PLAYING]
Acting was the only thing that I really was willing to do my
homework for.
I was a terrible student, and it was the only class that I
was ever Student of the Month in.
I am a board gamer, for sure.
I have a large collection at home.
I've been playing, heavily, these games since
about 2003 or so.
And I love it.
There was a store in Cleveland, where I was going
to grad school, that was going out of business.
It was a game store.
And I walked by, and I saw a bunch of games that I'd never
heard of on deep, deep discount.
So I went home, looked them up, and I found BoardGameGeek.
And it sort of was the end, for me.
I like that it's a social activity.
It's a way to use your brain, with people interacting in a
different way from how you normally would
interact with them.
I like that it adds this sort of false interaction on top of
your actual interaction, and makes you just be different
with each other.
Gaming is my life's exercise.
I don't know what that means.
Do you?
I have no idea.
