LAURA OSNES: I started with Bonnie and Clyde almost 3 and
1/2 years ago now.
There's definitely parts of the character that I think
I've kept little bits of and gotten to expound on over
time-- like getting to know Bonnie better over the last
three years and getting to know the creative team and
their vision for the show and getting to work with Jeremy.
We've discovered a lot of things together.
JEREMY JORDAN: I did a lot of research on my own.
I didn't watch the movie because that's somebody else's
interpretation.
So I really wanted to try to get the facts.
LAURA OSNES: Jeff Calhoun, not only is he an amazing
director, but he, as a person, is the most wonderful,
wonderful man.
Our show is seamless, I think, because of him and
his vision for it.
He's done a lot of research.
We've done a lot of research.
Our book writer, Ivan Menchell, has read every book
on Bonnie and Clyde that exists.
Yeah, it's a very exciting show.
You get to see guns fired on stage, amazing blood effects
that are used.
It's rare to see that on a stage.
JEREMY JORDAN: I've accidentally shot a gun off
right here and couldn't hear for three hours.
They're intense.
They're not something that you can play with.
So it's very intimidating, but it's also very empowering.
LAURA OSNES: From Bonnie Parker--
JEREMY JORDAN: And Clyde Barrow--
BOTH: Come see Bonnie and Clyde on Broadway.
