I am Benjamin, from Vitória da Conquista, in Bahia.
I have started playing when I was about eleven I used to go to my grandmother's house,
and there was a guitar there.
Until the day that my sister has presented to me two records, which until nowadays are strongly part of my life,
are strongly part of my life,
they are doubtless two butress for me, one is called "Abismo das Rosas",
from Dilermando Reis,
and the other one is "The Wall", from Pink Floyd.
After a while, I have started writing a lot of things, and those were apart of any band,
and then singing these things.
That's how Benjamin happened.
I have chosen Visconde de Inhaúma Street because it was the first place where I felt
myself like in home
I felt the sensation of continuity.
Everything happens on this street, it is an access to the other cities in ABC,
find one of a kind things, and a lot of people. This is a very
important thing for me,
the exchange with people, this energy exchange that happens even if we don't look at each
other's faces, moreover in big cities those things are lost little by little, aren't they?
I am Benjamin, I am on Inhaúma Street,
and I am going to play "Waters".
