Max Askren: You know, wrestling
it's kind of unexplored territory.
You know there's so much more that I have to learn; that I have to, kind of, figure out
and piece back together.
It's an enjoyable thing to me that I can do for years and years and I'll never perfect.
So, for that reason it's fun. It's so fun.
I guess the other thing is the relationships you develop with the different practice partners you have.
It's interesting because I really
if I mean some of my better practice partners and different people that I really
enjoyed...like I really don't talk that much to them.
It's not about what we tell each other and this and that but what you kind of know;
because you felt that you've been through things together.
You know it's interesting...
I guess that for me...that's
what epitomizes wrestling; it's the relationships... you grow within it.
Also kind of the adventure of figuring something out that's new and figuring out what your body can do.
I don't wrestle to be famous or be recognized because it's something that I've grown up loving.
It's a family affair and it's between me and the other people who do it.
It's something that's important to me and it doesn't have to be important to other people and
I find enjoyment in it and that's enough for me.
