the bikes of two women
and two men are a pile
of mangled metal..
After the riders were
plowed into by the driver
of this pickup when he
tried pulling into the
valero gas station in moss
landing.. This is the 35
year old driver and
investigators say he
should not have been
behind the wheel..

driver was not licensed and
probably not aware of the rules
of
the road of yielding to all
traffic

the four riders were all
sent to local hospitals
with moderate injuries,
one woman suffered
severe cuts to her face, a
male rider broke his arm
and wrist.. The cyclists
were taking part in the
annual "AIDS/LIFECYCLE"
bike ride from san
francisco to los angeles..
