I'm here at Summer NAM 2012 bring you the Numark
iDJ Pro.
This controller is designed to be the next step up from Numark's previous offering of
the iDJ Live. It definitely has a
much better look and feel than the previous model. The vertical layout of the iPad
takes advantage of a skinned version of
Algoriddim's
DJ app
that minimize the on-screen turntables and puts the effects controls
front-and-center. A traditional mixer has been replaced by to rotating dials on each side of the board
that control the volume of each platter.
The jog platters have an impressive response time and a very good feel, especially for
something that's operated completely off of an iPad.
The iDJ Pro is set to be released
later this year.
