The nano vypyr from Peavey features a comprehensive DSP effects section featuring an unpresidented
possible 35 effects combinations in a portable modelling amplifier which also features 11
analogue amp models. Along with delay and revurb the effects section features; Wah,
tremolo, chorus, compression, rotary speaker, phaser, flanger and octave, after
selecting an effect you can edit one or more perametres by turning the effects morph control.
Here we are using it to adjust the rate of the phaser effect. Selecting the chorus I'll
edit this effect's parametres, then selecting the chorus compressor effect the chorus parametres from before are remembered and
I can now use the next morph control to adjust the chorus. This allows control
over both effects in this combination but plugging in an expression pedal into the nano
vypyr I can now control the parametres in real time like in this example by changing
the rate of the tremolo. And expression pedal also allows the auto wah to become a standard pedal wah.
Turning the delay control clockwise will bring in the delay, for which the time can be adjusted
using the tap tempo. Likewise to add revurb just turn up the meter dial and turning the
delay or effect morph controls fully counterclockwise will bypass the relevant effects.
