hi this is karen titus from stamping on the back porch back with another of our watercolor
wonder designer series notecards today we're using this particular card and again you get
four of these just like this so you already have your nice pretty background and i'm going
to show four different ideas of what to do with it of course this just really stand alone
so i just added words and you've got a great card these fun words are from the million
and one stamp set and now if i just want to add a little more this time i'm taking the
words from my mother so i have happy mother's day and across the top you'll see i put some
of the ruffled trim in the crisp cantaloupe so it coordinates and added a little of the
linen thread so thats just a pretty addition that way and this next one's looks quite vintagy
so i love to use vintage things so you can see here i have used the crochet trim and
then some words from the lots of thanks stamp set and then the punch that makes the bookmark
part and i was going to quickly show here when i do a ribbon like this i actually put
this around and use glue dots just to attach it so its attached under there and than i
had my ribbon tied separately so i just covered that so i just find that a lot easier than
just trying to pull it around and put it into a bow like that so then today we're going
to do another quick thing here so i've started with the oval framelits and i just cut out
the size i wanted out of this out of a sheet of card stock and then i'm just going to put
it on the card i'm kind of just guessing here because it doesn't really matter but i think
i'll put it about right there and then i am going to sponge with my crisp cantaloupe again
and again i could make this as dark or as light as i want so when i lift that up there
is going to be my pretty background so then next i'm going to take my stamp and count
how fast i'm back well i had to run to the other room so here i am i'm back and i'm using
the enjoy from the simply create stamp set and i wanted it a little lighter than plain
black so i'm just going to stamp it once on my paper and then on my card so its more of
a gray tone and then to finish this at the top i'm going to add some of the thin silver
trim and i'm just going to show you the little i like to do knots more than bows but if you
haven't seen this before you can see i have this just flat here and when i come around
i'm going to hold down my right side very flat like that while i pull the other and
then i can get it into a nice little tie here and then i will cut that off and then the
last thing i would like to add here is just a few little rhinestones so i'm going to just kind
of continue this out right here and of course i could put those wherever i want but that
again is another so here are four fun ideas that are all pretty quick and you don't get
any quicker than this and what a beautiful card these will make so thanks for watching
