when I first opened the studio it was my goal to offer
the highest level of pilates instruction to have instructors who
would be able to handle
people with injuries people who are de-conditioned never had done
pilates as well as advanced athletes and dancers
and to show the benefits of pilates and for the whole population. One element of the studio
is that we do have
split level so we're able to dedicate the upper
level to private sessions and duet sessions, one-on-one pilates primarily
also yoga
plus we have the back room where we have a massage and acupuncture service
and then downstairs we have a wide open wood floor space so we can offer
group pilates classes yoga classes dance classes now
cardiovascular to round out strength training
flexibility so many components. I began taking pilates after I was having some
running injuries I really enjoyed it and that help strengthen muscles I wasn't
strengthening
doing running so I'm really began to love it actually
I'm enjoying the whole process of learning
more about pilates and the basic program. I got into pilates when I was a classical
ballet dancer
and teaching Pilates has been really great experience
we do offer a wide array of classes but
a primary concern is always bringing them a workout that is
appropriate and challenging
