Let me tell you a wonderful story, as eloquently told by wise men.
In musical theater actors must have many strings to their bow.
Besides acting, we're required to know how to sing and dance almost to perfection.
Even you, in these trying times, must keep up to date.
In the show I play one of the leading roles, the bad guy.
I was on top of the list.
Playing a bad guy is naturally interesting as it's a very complex role.
It's present through the entire story; the array of feelings is very varied.
As to sheer force, I don't really have the dominant gene.
For me, the most exciting was to learn the lion's body language.
Every night I must portray an animal, while maintaining the human dimension.
- I won't bow again.
- Don't turn your back on me, Scar.
- Maybe you shouldn't turn yours.
- Are you defying me?
