right now. We can check out the
Atlantic, and the National
Hurricane
Center does not see tropical
development in the next five
days.
There are hardly any showers
there! Dry air is still in
place. We have
some upper lows that cause
strong upper level winds, and
that is not
conducive to development. The
water temperatures are also
cooler than
average off the Coast of Africa
where easterly waves often
develop this time of the year.
We can look at the East Pacific
and we do
have Karina about 640 miles SW
of the South Tip of Baja
California. It's the
6th hurricane of the season, but
it's moving west into the
Pacific. Back
home we are looking dry and
looking nice. Sure it was hot
today but
the humidity is lower. This
evening we'll be in the mid 70s
to low 80s by 9pm, and morning
lows will be in the upper 60s
Northshore to low
to mid 70s south and low 70s
along the Mississippi Coast. The
weather
cooperates for the Saints game
against the Tennessee Titans.
6pm we'll be in the upper 80s.
9pm temperatures will be in the
low 80s.
Hot Friday. Highs will be in
the low 90s. There's a slight
rain chance
mainly along the coast. The
humidity returns this weekend.
You
will notice it more Sunday with
a 40% rain chance. Highs will
be in the low
90s. Next week looks hot with a
20-30% rain chance each day.
