Hey folks, Lorri Ratzlaff here. Coming to you today from the deep freeze known as the
Canadian Prairies. I'm on a getaway this weekend with my family and I am telling you it is
COLD. I went for a walk this morning with my sister-in-law and it was literally minus
47 degrees Celcius. I think that's why my cheeks are a little bit rosy.
I wanted to shoot a quick video for you about something that's really struck me. Even though
this is a family getaway I have been doing a lot of reading and some time listening to
some recordings of a speaker that I saw just about two months ago already. That speakers
name is Rex Crain. If you've not heard of Rex or heard him speak I'll give you a link
so that you can look him up because he's just amazing.
The topic that I wanted to share with you today is that everyone has their own unique
degree of greatness. Obviously we're put on this planet for a purpose. We all have something
that we need to fulfill. I think that so many people get distracted by life. Things not
going our way, things not happening the way we'd like them to. There's divorce, there's
financial issues, there's disease, there's all kinds of really yucky stuff, and that
gets in the way of the GOOD stuff!
When you stop to think about your own unique degree of greatness and what that means to
the rest of the world, I wonder how many of us are just not fulfilling that degree of
greatness. So, I think what I'd really like to encourage you to do today is just stop
and consider what YOUR unique degree of greatness is. What is it about YOU that makes you unique
and special and TOTALLY awesome, because YOU ARE, let's face it! We ALL are!
But what can you DO with that greatness that will make this planet a better place? Do you
know what I mean? Like, that's something you have to really stop and consider, because
I think if you don't take the time to consider what it is, then it just slips away and you
don't use it appropriately or in a way that benefits other people.
So I really want to encourage you to take some time, and contemplate what your unique
degree of greatness is and how you can use it to make this planet a better place.
I've gotta tell you, since I've been blogging regularly, I really feel like MY degree of
greatness and my ability to assist and make a difference in this world, I feel like I'm
getting closer and closer and closer to it. Only because I'm able to really express myself
in a way that I never felt comfortable enough before. And don't get me wrong, I'm all OVER
social media, if you know me at all you know how active I am socially. Blogging is just
a new level of expression and freedom and teaching and helping. So, if that's something
that interests you at all I really want to recommend that you check out blogging the
way I've been doing and the way thousands and thousands of other people have been doing
and really making an impact on this world, through their blog. And if you think that
sounds crazy, I challenge you to check it out.
So, anyway, you are GREAT! You are unique and you are fabulous! I want to wish for you
a fabulous rest of your day and I will see you on another video very soon. Bye for now.
